Those who left comments on our survey overwhelmingly wanted to keep reading print books, loved
browsing bookshops and touching books. They were also intrigued by the e-book
phenomenon and were interested in learning about it and giving it a go!
It surprised us that only 20% of our respondents had an e-reader and they were fairly evenly
spread between the Kindle and Ipad.
Local libraries are still popular as is passing books around amongst friends. There
was certainly a mix of buying e-books and reading free ones.
Overall our survey told us that the printed version of a book is still alive and well but
people are becoming interested in e-books and e-readers. I guess nothing new
there!
There were comments regarding the editing standards of e-books and that is where we come
in. Email or call us and we will be happy to let you know how we can help you
put the best product you possibly can out onto the world stage!
We loved reading your responses to our survey and thankyou to those who filled it in.
